【PhoneAuto News】On November 17th, PhoneAuto learned that Wuling Motors announced the official start of pre-sales for its first ultra-A-class family sedan, Wuling Xingguang, at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The new car offers two configuration versions: the 70 Standard Edition and the 150 Advanced Edition, priced at 93,800 yuan and 109,800 yuan, respectively.

Wuling Xingguang adopts a brand-new native new energy architecture, compatible with plug-in hybrid and pure electric power units. At the same time, it also adopts the “Star Wing Aesthetics” design concept, equipped with an expanding front grille, starlight headlights, full LED automatic headlights, and star-shaped taillights. In terms of details, the new car uses split-type lighting, which can be seen as very tensioned. Wuling Xingguang offers 6 body color options, including Starry White, Starry Purple, Starry Green, Starry Gray, Starry Black, and Starry Brown. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the car are 4,835mm, 1,860mm, and 1,515mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,800mm.

In terms of power, Wuling Xingguang pure electric version will be equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 100 kW; the plug-in hybrid version will be equipped with a 1.5L four-cylinder engine and an electric motor to form a plug-in hybrid system, with the engine’s maximum power of 78 kW. In terms of range, the 1.5L plug-in hybrid model offers two battery pack options: 9.5 kWh and 20.5 kWh, corresponding to a pure electric range of 50 km and 105 km, respectively; the pure electric version offers two phosphate iron lithium battery pack options: 41.9 kWh and 54.3 kWh, corresponding to a pure electric range of 410 km and 510 km, respectively.
