[Mobile China News] Recently, Mobile China noticed that Honor has applied for and published a patent for “head-mounted XR device user interface display method and device.” The patent application number is CN202311514304.5, and the application was published on November 15, 2023.
This patent introduces a method and device for displaying the user interface of a head-mounted XR device in the field of head-mounted XR device technology. When wearing a head-mounted XR device for navigation, the device displays the corresponding user interface according to the user’s facial orientation. This allows users to easily view navigation information instructions, map routes, and travel information in virtual space provided by the head-mounted XR device by simply turning their heads. It eliminates the need for users to look down at the phone screen and does not interfere with their view of the real world, achieving a convenient and safe navigation display and viewing experience.

According to Honor executives, multiple products including Honor 90 GT, Honor X50 GT, and Honor Tablet 9 will be released soon.
