MediaTek Tianji 9400 Chip Unveiled, Aiming to Outperform Qualcomm and Being Adopted by Oppo and Vivo!

Currently, the vivo X100 series is the first to debut with this chip, and some models of the OPPO Find X7 series may also be equipped with the 9300. On December 16th, Mobile China noticed that a senior informant revealed that MediaTek intends to surpass Qualcomm’s Snapdragon with the Dimensity 9400.

Officially, MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is a “flagship 5G AI mobile chip”, using a fully integrated design and TSMC’s next-generation 4nm process, with 22.7 billion transistors. The CPU adopts a 1× 3.25GHz Cortex-X4 + 3× 2.85GHz Cortex-X4 + 4× 2.0GHz A720 architecture. Compared with Dimensity 9200, it has a 15% performance improvement under the same power consumption, a 40% multi-core peak performance improvement, and a 33% power consumption reduction under the same performance.

At the vivo X100 series launch event, vivo stated that it was deeply involved in the research and development of the Dimensity 9300. Mobile China noticed that there are rumors that vivo has a high level of influence within MediaTek and has participated in the development of the Dimensity 9400 chip.
