iPhone 16 Series Screen Enhancements are Positive, but Disappointing Drop in High Refresh Rate Across Entire Range
[Mobile China News] Earlier, there were reports that the standard version of iPhone 16 would have a 120Hz refresh rate, while the iPhone 16 Pro would add a “side screen button” to provide more functionality. However, on December 13, Mobile China noticed that a digital blogger leaked information that the screens of the iPhone 16 series have significantly improved in terms of eye protection and transparency. Unfortunately, the high refresh rate feature has been cut across the entire series, which is disappointing.
According to the latest leaks, it can be confirmed that the iPhone 16 series will increase the size of all four models. The iPhone 16/Pro will increase to 6.3 inches, and the iPhone 16 Plus/Max will increase to 6.9 inches. The 5x telephoto lens exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max will also be included in the iPhone 16 Pro/Max models with some minor adjustments compared to the previous generation to ensure better image quality. The “operation button” exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro models will also be equipped on the basic model of the iPhone 16 series, but the iPhone 16 Pro/Max will also have an additional independent button with specific functions yet to be known. In addition, the Pro models will replace physical buttons with solid-state buttons.
