【PhoneAuto News】 On December 1st, PhoneAuto learned that the new generation of Toyota Prado produced by FAW Toyota will begin accepting reservations after the Spring Festival in 2024. At the recently concluded 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, the new FAW Toyota Prado made its debut, and the new car will be officially launched in 2024 with an annual planned production capacity of 36,000 units.

The new Toyota Prado is built on the TNGA-F platform, with a square-shaped front design, rich layering, equipped with rectangular-shaped headlights (some models have circular headlights inside the lamp compartment), the grille in the middle is equipped with Toyota’s letter logo, and the thick front bumper below also enhances the visual impact of the front face. In terms of the rear design, the new Prado’s taillights adopt a vertical layout, and the Land Cruiser and Toyota logos at the rear are also designed in black.

In terms of configuration, the new Toyota Prado is equipped with a 12.3-inch central control screen, electric power steering, wireless charging, digital key, external power supply, 8-way seat electric adjustment, seat ventilation/heating, JBL audio system, three-zone air conditioning, and heated steering wheel. In addition, in terms of off-road configuration, the new domestic Prado is equipped with TorSen limited-slip center differential, SDM stabilizer bar separation device, electronically controlled mechanical rear differential lock, AVS adaptive suspension, MTS multi-terrain control, and crawl mode, etc.

In terms of power, the new Toyota Prado is equipped with a 2.4T hybrid power system, which has a comprehensive maximum power of 243 kW and a comprehensive peak torque of 630 Nm, and is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
