On December 4th, OPPO China’s President, Liu Bo, seemed to debunk the design of the Find X7. Liu Bo posted three confused emoticons on Weibo, along with the rendered image, seemingly denying that the new device would have such a design.

What kind of design does the new device actually have? Recently, digital blogger @数码闲聊站 leaked images of the Find X7 Pro engineering unit, which shows a four-camera dual periscope solution, completely matching the information I previously shared. As for the gossip lens Deco, it looks like a partial secrecy shell, and it is highly likely that the final version will choose a more harmonious circular module.

Some netizens commented, “I think the camera placement is correct, just change the gossip to a circle.” It is worth mentioning that there have been previous leaks claiming that the Find X7 series will have a circular camera module similar to the Find X6 series. OPPO has always been proficient in phone aesthetics, so we believe that the design of the Find X7 series will not disappoint us, and it should look much better than the leaked images.

OPPO Find X6 series

According to reports, the Find X7 Pro will have a rear quad-camera setup, including a 50MP LYT-900 main camera with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a pair of periscope telephoto cameras. It might feature a 50MP IMX890 periscope telephoto camera with 2.7x optical zoom and a 50MP IMX858 periscope telephoto camera with 6x optical zoom. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

As for the Find X7, it is expected to be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset. The X7 series is expected to be launched at the end of January or the beginning of February next year.
