From the exposed interior images, it can be seen that the car is equipped with a newly designed digital instrument panel and an embedded large-sized central control screen, similar in style to the upcoming Macan EV. Below the central control screen, it is also equipped with physical buttons, air conditioning vents, and dual USB ports. The control buttons for air conditioning, seat heating/ventilation functions have been moved to the tilted center console, using both touch-sensitive buttons and physical knobs as two different touch methods. Finally, we can also see some test equipment at the center console, which may be replaced by a storage box in the final production version of the car.

As for the exterior, the car has been previously exposed multiple times. The Porsche Boxster EV incorporates the latest design elements of the Porsche family in its exterior design. The front headlights with sharp styling on both sides of the front face look very sharp, the side profile is very simple and smooth, and overall it looks similar to the current model. The large tire size also highlights its sports car identity. As for the rear, the test car may be equipped with a newly designed continuous LED taillight, but interestingly, there is also an exhaust pipe at the bottom of the rear, which is likely one of the props used by the test car for camouflage.

Regarding the powertrain, there have been reports that this car will be built on a new electric vehicle platform (PPE) jointly developed by Porsche and Audi. It may offer two powertrain options: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. As for the specific power parameters and battery size, they are currently unknown. In terms of release timing, the new car is expected to be unveiled at the end of 2024 and officially go on sale in 2025.
