The iQOO 12 series is scheduled to be released on November 7th, formally unveiling next Tuesday. This is the only flagship phone among the four phones to be unveiled next week.

iQOO 12 series iQOO 12 series

This lineup will include two phones: iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro. The new phones adopt a completely new appearance design, and the Deco design of the whole device is inspired by “thousand-mile port windows,” with no straight lines and no flat surfaces. Among them, the black track edition uses a new selenite AG glass material, which is deep and high-end; the white legend edition uses ceramic enamel texture and glass material, which is pure and delicate; the burning trail red color inspiration comes from a landform in the Northwestern region of China, and the texture innovatively restores the texture of nature.

The iQOO 12 series is the first batch of smartphones to be equipped with the third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, bringing “something that others don’t have”. Vivo has independently developed the first self-developed e-sports chip, the Q1, for the iQOO 12 series, equipped with a full-time four-zone cooling system, which will completely rewrite the industry’s limit on gaming performance. There are also groundbreaking changes in the camera department. According to official sources, the iQOO 12 series will adopt a super large 1/1.3-inch sensor, with powerful optical image stabilization. There will also be significant improvements in the wide-angle lens and the telephoto periscope lens.

It is reported that both models in the iQOO 12 series will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a triple camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera (OmniVision OV50H, wide-angle), a 50-megapixel camera (Samsung JN1, ultra-wide-angle), and a 64-megapixel camera (OmniVision OV64B, 3x telephoto periscope). They will also support 120W wired charging.

The Pro version offers curved screens, ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, IP68 protection, and 50W wireless charging.

The Honor X50i+ will be released on November 10th (next Friday). According to official announcements, the device is equipped with a 100-megapixel camera, it is lightweight and thin.

The design of the Honor X50i+ is interesting. The rear camera module adopts a circular design, but it is incomplete, reminiscent of the Huawei P60 Art rear camera module. The three cameras are arranged in a triangular pattern, reminiscent of the iPhone’s design. Some netizens jokingly call the Honor X50i+ the “iPhone Pro Art,” but the CMO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd. in China, Jiang Hairong, said, “Don’t be silly.”

Overall, the Honor X50i+ looks really nice and is available in at least two color options: pink and light blue. Currently, the Honor X50i+ is already listed on e-commerce platforms and is open for pre-order. The front of the new device appears to adopt a center-aligned dual hole-punch design, with very narrow bezels, providing a comfortable visual experience.

In terms of specifications, it is said that the Honor X50i+ will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ zero-risk dimming OLED eye protection screen, powered by a 2.4GHz unknown chip, supporting 5G connectivity, and having an equivalent of 20GB (12+8) of RAM. It will have a dual rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It will be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 35W charging and will be sold in various memory configurations.

As for the price, as a reference, the Honor X50i was launched in April this year, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 octa-core processor. It has a rear 100-megapixel main camera + 2-megapixel depth camera setup and an 80-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a 6.7-inch narrow bezel display, supporting a 90Hz high refresh rate. It is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery and supports 35W fast charging. The 8GB+256GB variant is priced at 1,499 yuan, and the 12GB+256GB variant is priced at 1,699 yuan.

The positioning of the Honor X50i+ is higher than that of the Honor X50i, and the price should be slightly higher, but it should not exceed 2000 yuan.

On November 3rd, OPPO announced the pre-order of the OPPO A2. The phone will accept full payment reservations on November 6th (next Monday) and officially go on sale on November 11th (next Saturday).

Although it is a thousand-yuan phone, the OPPO A2’s appearance is not bad. The phone adopts a trendy design and comes in three color options: Jinghai Black, Qingbo Green, and Crystal Purple.
