Tesla Cybertruck parts cost is revealed, and it even has hidden features!

Revealed Tesla Cybertruck's Surprising Parts Cost and Hidden Features Revealed

【PhoneAuto News】Tesla’s parts catalog has been updated, including the newly released Cybertruck. The Cybertruck parts catalog showcases the design of this all-electric pickup truck, the prices of some key components, and some features that Tesla has not yet acknowledged.

According to observations from members of the Cybertruck owners club, the prices of some major components of this electric pickup are actually quite reasonable. For example, by looking at the parts catalog, you can find that the front fender of the Cybertruck costs about $550 each, which is quite reasonable considering the size of the Cybertruck. The labor cost to repair a damaged Cybertruck fender may not be too expensive either, as the vehicle does not require painting.

However, the repair cost of some Cybertruck components is high. The massive windshield of the vehicle is priced at $1,900, which is reasonable in itself. But considering that the repair of the Cybertruck windshield may require specialized machinery (due to the size of the glass), the overall cost of replacing the windshield may far exceed the $1,900 price of the component.

Equally expensive is the front steering actuator of the Cybertruck, priced at $3,300. Cybertruck’s wire-control steering system has been praised, but from the parts catalog, it can be seen that the price of this feature is also quite high. The massive wiper blades of the Cybertruck are priced at $75.

In addition to the prices of Cybertruck components, the parts catalog also suggests some features that the electric vehicle manufacturer has not yet announced. One of them is that the front bumper camera of the Cybertruck is heated, which should help improve the performance of vehicle functions such as autopilot and full self-driving in winter. The rear middle seat of the vehicle can also be folded down.

Finally, it seems that Tesla has equipped the Cybertruck with some interesting Easter eggs. The enclosed panel on the rear of the vehicle is carved with the unmistakable shape of the Cybertruck. This Easter egg may bring quite a surprise to owners when they start repairing their vehicles.
