【phoneauto News】On September 5th, digital blogger @ revealed that Vivo will make big moves starting from October. The new system Origin OS4, new devices Vivo X100 series, iQOO 12 series, and Vivo X Fold3 will be released one after another.
The blogger disclosed that Vivo’s upcoming release schedule is tentatively set as Origin OS4 → Vivo X100/X100 Pro → iQOO 12/12 Pro → Vivo X100 Pro+/Vivo X Fold3, with the big moves starting in October.
Previously, at the 2023 Vivo Carnival, Vivo’s global president Shen Wei confirmed that Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will be released before the end of this year, while X100 Pro+ will be released next year. According to the leak, Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will be released in November this year, while X100 Pro+ and Vivo X Fold3 will make their appearance in the first quarter of next year.

From this perspective, in October, Vivo will release the new Origin OS4. There are rumors that Origin OS4 has made some advancements in terms of resource and performance scheduling, not only ensuring smooth desktop sliding but also implementing it in multiple scenarios.
In terms of specifications, the leak shows that the imaging capabilities of the Vivo X100 series have been significantly upgraded. The Vivo X100 series will debut Vivo’s self-developed imaging chip V3, built with a 6nm process, with improvements in scale and materials. It will focus on 4K portrait videos, with improved speed and smoothness in shooting.
The imaging capabilities of the Vivo X100 Pro+ are very powerful. It will be equipped with a 1-inch large bottom 50 million pixel Sony IMX989 main camera, a 200 million pixel telephoto lens, and two 50 million pixel auxiliary cameras. It will be powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage; it will also support IP68 dust and water resistance; and it will have an under-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Unlike the Vivo X100 Pro+, the X100 and X100 Pro will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chip.
