【Phoneauto News】Earlier, there were reports that Honor is building a marketing team in India and planning to re-enter the Indian smartphone market. The reports also mentioned that Honor is actively contacting Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme, hoping that he will become the CEO of Honor India. On July 13th, Phoneauto learned from foreign media that Honor has registered the trademark “Honor for Knights” in India, with Madhav Sheth as the owner.

According to foreign media reports, Honor will return to the Indian market after a year and launch a new smartphone. Mukul Sharma, a leaker, revealed that the application number for the new Honor trademark is 5976635, belonging to category 9, which is for smartphones/tablets. The product description includes smartphones, phone cases, phone straps, phone chargers, phone battery chargers, phone accessories, and more.
The reports also mentioned that Honor has previously applied for two trademarks in India: C1 and CarConnect. It is said that Honor C1 is a self-developed radio frequency enhancement chip that incorporates various antenna tuning algorithms. With this technology, Honor C1 can improve the transmission and reception performance of a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi single antenna by 17% and increase the Wi-Fi speed by a whole 200%.
