【Mobile China News】Nowadays, Huawei’s Mate60 Pro is undoubtedly the hottest domestic mobile phone. Although Huawei has not officially announced the sales of Mate60 Pro, recently, Mobile China noticed that research institutions’ information shows that Huawei has sold 1.6 million units of Mate60 Pro phones in six weeks.

Data from research institution Counterpoint shows that out of the 1.6 million units of Mate60 Pro phones sold, more than 400,000 units were sold in the past two weeks. Apple had launched the iPhone 15 in mainland China, but Huawei’s Mate60 Pro continued to sell well. Counterpoint stated that the sales of iPhone 15 decreased by 4.5% after 17 days of its release compared to the iPhone 14, but it did not provide specific data.

Previously, Mobile China noticed that in the 38th week of 2023, Apple’s market share in mobile phones reached 22.3%, more than doubled compared to the previous week, surpassing Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, and other competitors, and took the first place in the Chinese market. However, Apple’s sales were quickly overtaken by Huawei. In the 40th week of 2023, Huawei surpassed Apple and became the new first place in the Chinese market.

The information shows that Huawei’s mobile phone sales have experienced rapid growth recently, with year-on-year growth rates of 91%, 46%, 83%, and 95% in the past four weeks (W37-W40). The market share of Huawei phones has also increased from around 10% before the release of the Mate60 series to 19.4% in W40 (October 2nd to October 8th), ranking first in the domestic market.
