As a global leader in lithography machine supplier, ASML has been committed to providing the most advanced semiconductor manufacturing technology to its global customers. This cooperation with Korean chip manufacturers will further advance semiconductor manufacturing technology, reduce the energy consumption of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines, and improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Through collaboration with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, ASML will jointly invest in establishing a chip research center to develop hydrogen gas technology used in EUV lithography machines. This collaboration will help reduce the energy consumption of EUV lithography machines, minimize environmental impact, and promote the green development of semiconductor manufacturing technology. Currently, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are also important participants in the global semiconductor industry with significant influence in areas such as mobile chips, storage chips, and computer chips. They have cooperation relationships with major companies such as Qualcomm, NVIDIA, and AMD.

It is worth mentioning that according to China Daily, ASML Global Senior Vice President and China Regional President Shen Bo stated in an interview during the CIIE that ASML’s business growth in China this year has been rapid, and it is expected that China’s share of ASML’s global revenue will exceed 20% for the entire year. The outlook for next year’s business in China is also very optimistic. In the third quarter of this year, China accounted for 46% of ASML’s global business revenue.
