Foreign media Tesla’s entry-level model, Model 2, will be released in 2025.

【PhoneAuto News】According to foreign media reports, Musk announced during Tesla’s third-quarter earnings conference call that Tesla will launch a new vehicle in 2025 that is aimed at being “affordable and practical,” tentatively named Model 2. Musk said that this model will be very cool, but at the same time, very practical. The Model 2 will serve as a commuter vehicle for users, capable of quickly reaching their destination, but it won’t be as exciting as the Cybertruck. He further revealed that the estimated price for the Model 2 will be below $25,000, approximately 180,000 yuan in Chinese currency.

It is reported that this model will be Tesla’s fifth vehicle after the Model 3. Currently, Tesla has already launched several models including the Model S, Model X, and Model Y, with the Model 3 being one of the most popular. It’s worth mentioning that Tesla achieved a record-breaking delivery volume in the third quarter of this year, delivering a total of 974,000 vehicles, a 44% year-on-year increase.
