Sony Xperia 1 V, a movie-inspired imaging smartphone, appears at Sony Expo 2023

Sony Xperia 1 V debuts at Sony Expo 2023 as a movie-inspired imaging smartphone

【PhoneAuto News】On May 24th, 2023, Sony (China) Limited’s annual large-scale brand event, “Sony Expo 2023”, opened at the Shanghai Bund International Esports Cultural Center. The newly released Sony film-like image mobile phone Xperia 1 V’s first batch of experience prototypes were also exhibited at the event.

According to PhoneAuto, the Sony Xperia 1 V, with a new image sensor as its core, creates more realistic and natural color expression and detailed shooting effects. It performs better in shooting environments such as people, scenery, and low light. Thanks to the low-light shooting properties of the new sensor, combined with multi-frame synthesis technology, the Xperia 1 V has a nearly 2x improvement in night scene image quality. Its noise control and dynamic range performance are comparable to those of images taken by Sony full-frame cameras.

In addition, the “Exmor T for mobile” image sensor, which is named after it, combines a 24mm primary lens and has a size that is 1.7 times larger than the previous generation. It uses a new double-layered transistor pixel stack technology. Compared with ordinary sensors, the full well capacity of the new sensor is about three times that of the previous generation. With Sony’s image processing technology, it can effectively improve low-light shooting effects, and night scene shooting can achieve low noise and full color. The rear 85-125mm (F2.3-F2.8) optical zoom lens can not only shoot landscapes at long focal lengths but is also suitable for shooting portrait subjects.

The Sony Xperia 1 V will be available for sale in early June and comes in three colors: black, silver, and green. The 12GB+256GB version is priced at 8999 yuan, and the 12GB+512GB version is priced at 9799 yuan.
