【PhoneAuto News】As a phone with a transparent back cover, Nothing Phone (1) has been loved by many consumers since its overseas release. Now, the official release date for Nothing Phone (2) has been announced by Nothing: it will be launched globally on July 11th, and the company has also revealed some details about the new device. This phone will be the second smartphone released by the company established by former OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei.

Nothing announced on Twitter that Nothing Phone (2) is scheduled to be released on July 11th. The launch event will be held in London at 4:00 PM British Summer Time. Nothing will broadcast the event live on its official website.
So far, Nothing has not revealed more information about the new device. According to the leaks, Nothing Phone (2) will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform and a 4700mAh battery.

Nothing Phone (2) release date
The new phone’s display will be 0.15 inches larger than that of Nothing Phone (1). For reference, the latter is equipped with a 6.55-inch display, meaning Nothing Phone (2) will have a 6.7-inch screen. Additionally, from the teaser image released, Nothing Phone (2) will feature a dual punch-hole screen design.
The upcoming Nothing Phone (2) has been confirmed to receive three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.
Nothing Phone (2) will be launched in India, as the company has confirmed that it will be produced by the Shenzhen-based manufacturer, BYD Electronics, in Tamil Nadu. Nothing Phone (1) was also produced in this factory. The new phone will also be the company’s most sustainable product, with components made from recycled materials and sustainable plastics. It is said that the carbon footprint of the upcoming phone is 53.45 kilograms, which is 5 kilograms less than that of Phone (1).
