【PhoneAuto News】On May 18th, HTC officially released the HTC U23 Pro that was leaked earlier this month. The phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch FullHD+ OLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and features a centered punch-hole design with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is worth noting that the phone does not support screen fingerprint unlocking, but uses side fingerprint unlocking instead.

The HTC U23 Pro has a front-facing 32 million pixel selfie camera and a rear matrix quad-camera, including a 108 million pixel main camera (with OIS), an 8 million pixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5 million pixel macro lens, and a 2 million pixel depth-of-field lens. The HTC U23 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. It supports expanding memory through a microSD card and runs Android 13 out of the box.

The HTC U23 Pro comes pre-installed with the VIVERSE application and is compatible with the separately sold VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset. In addition, the U23 Pro has an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, a 4600mAh battery, and supports 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It also supports reverse wireless charging. Other features of the HTC U23 Pro include 5G, WiFi 6, NFC, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The HTC U23 Pro comes in two colors and memory configurations – the 8GB/256GB version is priced at TWD 16990 (approximately RMB 3869), and the 12GB/256GB version is priced at TWD 17990 (approximately RMB 4097). The new phone can be purchased in Taiwan, China through the HTC Taiwan official website.
