【PhoneAuto News】Guo Haitao, CMO of Extreme-K Technology, responded to rumors this afternoon, stating that the news about the new release of Extreme-K 001 on New Year’s Day is false. He expressed gratitude for everyone’s attention and support for the Extreme-K brand, and clarified the related rumors.
According to reports, the leaked information claims that the upgraded version of Extreme-K 001 will be released on New Year’s Day 2024. The new car will be equipped with a 310kW silicon carbide motor, with a zero to one hundred acceleration time of 5 seconds for the single motor model and 3.3 seconds for the dual motor model. In addition, the new car will come standard with a laser radar and NVIDIA Orin X automotive-grade chip, with significant upgrades in intelligent driving assistance.

Regarding the configuration adjustments, the leaked information shows that there have also been changes in the interior design of the car’s cabin, such as hollow-out design shift knob, curved instrument panel, and narrower bezels on the central control screen.
For reference, Extreme-K 007 has already started pre-sales during the Guangzhou Auto Show and is planned to be available for delivery in January 2024. The vehicle comes with two power systems: a single motor with 310kW and a dual motor with 165kW/310kW. The entire lineup comes standard with an 800V architecture and has a range of 688km/870km. In terms of intelligent driving, it is equipped with one laser radar, 12 high-definition cameras, and 5 millimeter-wave radars, and supports nationwide high-speed NZP (Navigating Zone Pilot) assisted driving.
