【PhoneAuto News】On October 16th, the official WeChat account of Tengshi Motors announced that their first luxury MPV model, the Tengshi D9, has officially exceeded 100,000 deliveries. Notably, the owner of the 100,000th Tengshi D9 is none other than Cao Hui, the son of the “Glass King” Cao Dewang and Vice Chairman of Fuyao Group.

The official statement from Tengshi reads, “We are grateful to Cao Hui, Vice Chairman of Fuyao Group, for becoming the owner of the 100,000th Tengshi D9. Let’s move forward together and witness the speed of Tengshi! Since its launch, the Tengshi D9 has been the preferred vehicle for many high-end business people due to its versatile capabilities. In the future, the Tengshi D9 will continue to escort more business people and contribute to the creation of more world-class enterprises.” From the official images, it can be seen that Zhao Changjiang, General Manager of Tengshi Sales Division, personally handed over the car keys and related commemorative gifts to Cao Hui, who gave a big thumbs up inside the car. In addition to Cao Hui, there are many other celebrities who also own a Tengshi D9. Previously, actors Hai Qing and Yang Lan, among others, have also chosen the Tengshi D9, making them part of the 100,000 Tengshi D9 owners.

On September 25th, the 100,000th Tengshi D9 produced by BYD officially rolled off the assembly line, just eleven months after the first mass-produced car in 2022. This makes the Tengshi D9 the fastest new energy luxury car in China to reach 100,000 units. Worth mentioning is that all Tengshi D9 vehicles are produced in the Yuhua District of Changsha City, which serves as an important global strategic base for new energy vehicle and component industries for BYD.
