Rugged and Revolutionary '山寨特斯拉Cybertruck' Unveiled at Los Angeles Auto Show, Production Set for 2025

【PhoneAuto News】At the Los Angeles Auto Show, a electric pickup truck called RoboTruck, launched by Aitekx, has attracted a lot of attention. This Tesla Cybertruck knockoff caused a sensation at the auto show, leaving people curious about this mysterious company and its products.

RoboTruck

Both the quality and appearance of this vehicle are far from commendable. There are obvious gaps and glue marks on the body, and the door handles are poorly made. The LED light bar on the car looks more suitable for home use. There is also a Toyota logo on the rear glass, which may indicate that this car is based on a modified Toyota Tacoma. However, the company representative denied this and vaguely stated that some parts on the car are adopted from existing products.

However, this vehicle does seem to be equipped with a genuine electric powertrain system. The battery pack and two motors can be seen on the chassis. Foreign media journalists on site also noticed that the frame looks specially made, and the video also shows some customized parts.

RoboTruck Details

More baffling is that the journalists interviewed a mysterious person named Ed, who refused to disclose his last name and position but continuously defended RoboTruck, even denying that it was inspired by the Cybertruck. However, this sounds far from true, as even the name is an imitation. He also said that if you think RoboTruck looks the same as Cybertruck, then you probably think all pickup trucks look the same. This is clearly a sophistry because Ford and Chevrolet pickup trucks have their own unique styles, while RoboTruck heavily plagiarized Cybertruck’s design.

The company stated that this vehicle is currently just a prototype, and their goal is to put it into production by 2025. This seems overly optimistic, and the representatives admit that they still have a lot of engineering work to do. The development of the new vehicle also requires a large amount of funding, but the official is unwilling to reveal who is behind the company.
