【PhoneAuto News】On May 15th, PhoneAuto learned from the official website that the all-new Buick Regal of SAIC-GM will be officially launched tonight. It is understood that the new car has undergone a comprehensive upgrade in appearance and interior, creating a brand new driving experience for users.

In terms of appearance, the new generation of Buick Regal adopts a brand-new family design language, inherits the PURE Design concept, and is equipped with a flying eaves and winged front face as well as a starry sky active air intake grille. It is also fitted with the latest Buick logo. The sharp headlight shape has strong recognition, and the overall style is more sporty. In addition, the Aviar model is exclusively equipped with Matrix adaptive matrix headlights, which use 222 LED light sources and have 15 independent illumination zones, supporting 9 intelligent lighting modes.

In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width, and height of 4996/1866/1472mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2905mm, which has been further optimized in the rear space.

Entering the car, the all-new Buick Regal adopts the all-new VCS intelligent cockpit design from Buick. The car is equipped with a super large 30-inch 6K screen with a resolution of 6008×934, built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and paired with the all-new VIP intelligent electronic architecture. It can provide 5G communication technology and multi-module OTA parallel upgrade, full of technology sense. At the same time, the new car is equipped with 3D floating comfort seats. The seat cushions of the front and rear rows have lengths of 505mm and 482mm respectively. The Aviar model has 3-stage adjustable heating, 3-stage suction-type ventilation, and massage functions for both the front and rear seats.

Regarding the powertrain, the new car is equipped with two inline four-cylinder engines, the 1.5T and the 2.0T. The former has a maximum power of 132kW, while the latter has a maximum power of 169 kW. The WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption under operating conditions is 6.59L/100km.
