On November 26, Changan Automobile and Huawei jointly announced that Huawei and Changan Automobile signed the “Investment Cooperation Memorandum” on the 25th in Shenzhen. After consultation, Huawei plans to establish a new company focusing on the research and development, production, sales, and services of intelligent driving systems and incremental components for intelligent connected vehicles. Huawei intends to integrate the core technologies and resources of its intelligent car solution business into the new company, and Changan Automobile and its affiliates intend to invest in the company and jointly support its future development with Huawei. Due to this news, the stock price of Changan Automobile opened today and immediately hit the limit up.

It is worth mentioning that as an important cooperative partner of Huawei in the automotive field, Siles stated that Huawei’s strategic adjustment in the automotive BU does not affect the long-term strategic partnership between the two parties, does not affect the supply of components to Siles, and does not affect the continuous provision of products and services to AITO Horizon vehicle owners and potential users. Currently, Siles has received an invitation to jointly invest in the target company and participate in the development of electrification and intelligent open platforms. The company is actively discussing and evaluating investment and cooperation-related matters. Therefore, Siles may also invest in the company.
