Samsung S23 series system gets major update, Chinese version out next week

【PhoneAuto News】On June 16th, the Samsung S23 series system received a major update, which is currently being pushed in Europe and expected to be pushed in China, South Korea, the United States, and other regions next week.

Previously, S23 users have been patiently waiting for their phones to receive the June 2023 security update, as rumors have suggested that this update will bring significant camera improvements. However, the update was delayed.

The update file is about 2.2GB in size, indicating that it may contain some significant improvements. It has been pushed in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. In the next few days, it may be launched in other Asian and European countries.

The China version is expected to be pushed next week

Although Samsung did not mention it in the official update log, the new software update is expected to include various camera improvements. These improvements include the HDR-related improvements that Samsung confirmed a few weeks ago. This improvement fixes the halo around objects in the image.

Global Samsung S23 series users can check whether the update has been pushed. The update method is to click “Settings”-“Software Update”, and then click “Download and Install”.
