Speak for environmental protection at Today at Apple Create for all things course
【PhoneAuto News】On May 27th, the second session of “Today at Apple: Everyone Can Create” series was successfully concluded. Apple once again cooperated with the Beijing Entrepreneurs Environmental Foundation to invite students from Beijing, Chengdu, and Kunming to participate in the course, helping them systematically learn how to upgrade their creative skills and inspire more people to protect our home.
“Today at Apple: Everyone Can Create” series
This year, “Today at Apple: Everyone Can Create” series invited many creators dedicated to environmental protection, including wildlife photographers Xi Zhinong and Xu Jian, “Not Suitable for Climate” podcast hosts Leyuan and He Xian, science popularization organization Planetarium Institute partner Wei Zhen, plant illustrator Yu Tian, and Chinese National Geographic illustration editor Zhang Yu and Weng Zhe, and held nine guest sharing courses in Beijing, Chengdu, and Kunming.

At the event site, many students shared their learning achievements in the “Today at Apple: Everyone Can Create” series. For example, Li Meng, who works in the local environmental NGO Nature Friends for external communication, used comic serialization to popularize knowledge about the endangered waterbird, the spoon-billed sandpiper, and its living environment. In the “Today at Apple” course, Li Meng followed the mentor to set the creative framework, capture highlights, and observe the scene, which gave him and his partners many inspirations.
SEE Foundation’s works
Through the “Today at Apple” event, students combined professional knowledge with comics to popularize environmental protection concepts in a form that is more easily accepted and understood by the general public.
Work of The Nature Conservancy (TNC)
With the assistance of the SEE Foundation’s conservation and nature education program, assistant Lu Yize combined his own field experience to better utilize the role of new media platforms, recording and presenting information about the Père David’s deer. Meanwhile, three volunteers from The Nature Conservancy (TNC), Dong Jing, Jia Hang, and Zhe Yan, opened up their creative thinking and achieved success through the “Today at Apple: Everyone Can Create” series of courses this year. By understanding the process of organizing content, storyboarding, and producing final animation videos, they brought about mental growth for the team.
In this year’s “Today at Apple: Everyone Can Create” series of courses, many students combined their learned skills with their daily science education work to spread environmental protection knowledge through more easily accessible and publicly accepted methods. We also look forward to these students continuing to experiment and explore to better promote environmental protection knowledge to the public in the future.
