Revealed List of Global Models Receiving Xiaomi MIUI 12.5 Update, First Batch to Support 11 Phone Models
【Mobile China News】Recently, Xiaomi officially launched Surge OS, and several models have received official updates. However, Surge OS has not been rolled out globally yet, but this will change in the first quarter of 2024. Now, foreign media have exposed the first batch of devices that will support Surge OS updates, including 11 models.
They are Xiaomi 13T, Xiaomi 13T Pro, Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Extreme Commemorative Edition, POCO F5, POCO F5 Pro, Redmi Note 12 4G/4G NFC, and Redmi Note 12S.
It’s worth mentioning that there is more than one list. Recently, another foreign media outlet reported the models that will receive the first batch of Surge OS updates, which is slightly different from this list. The other list shows that the first batch of updated models does not include the POCO F5 series and Redmi phones, but it adds Xiaomi Pad 6. In total, there are 9 devices in the first batch of updates. Currently, it is uncertain which list is more accurate.

According to foreign media, if your phone is not on either of these lists, there’s no need to worry. Additionally, even if the first batch doesn’t support your device, updates will gradually be rolled out, so there’s no need to panic. The only thing to do is to wait for the company engineers to complete their work.
In terms of the domestic market, Xiaomi has officially announced the first batch of Surge OS update plans. Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Redmi K60 Ultimate Edition will be pushed on December 1st; Xiaomi 13/Pro, Redmi K60/Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14 will be pushed on December 7th; Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 6 will gradually be pushed starting from January 2024. Xiaomi 14 Pro, Xiaomi 14, Redmi K70 Pro, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70E were already pre-installed when they came out.
