It is reported that the incident started when a netizen posted screenshots of the Xiaomi Pang-Pai OS system update online. The update log showed that this Pang-Pai OS update added automatic blocking and reporting to the police for adult apps at the system level. However, this is actually a photoshopped image. By referring to the update logs of other models updating to Pang-Pai OS, the original content should be “Update Google security patch (2023#11) to improve system security.”
