【Mobile China News】vivo is about to launch the S18 series mid-range flagship smartphones in China, which is expected to officially debut on December 14th. The new lineup includes three models: vivo S18, S18e, and S18 Pro. According to reports from foreign media, in addition to the domestic market, the new phones are also expected to be sold worldwide under the names V30 and V30 Lite, with V30 corresponding to S18 and V30 Lite corresponding to S18e.

Recently, the NCC certification information of vivo V30 has been exposed, revealing the design and key specifications of the phone. The model number of the phone is V2318 and it will be available in various colors including black. The back of the phone features a large rectangular camera module, with dual square-shaped cameras and an LED flash. The edges of the phone are curved, providing users with a better grip and comfort.

The front of the phone will have a curved screen with a centered hole-punch camera. The volume and power buttons are located on the right side of the phone, and the bottom features a USB Type-C port, speakers, SIM card slot, and primary microphone. According to previous Geekbench Vulkan benchmark tests, the phone will be equipped with the latest third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series processor, which is a mid-range chip based on TSMC’s 4nm process and supports 5G networks. The NCC certification information also shows that the phone will have 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space. In addition, it will feature a 5000mAh battery with support for up to 80W fast charging.

Currently, the specific release date of the vivo V30 series has not been announced, but it is expected to be earlier than its predecessor. The vivo V29 series was globally launched in July of this year, but it wasn’t available in the market until September.
