Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultimate Edition game tuning exposure, is it possible to have Redmi equipped with MediaTek Dimensity?
Can Redmi be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity for game tuning?
【PhoneAuto News】Last week, Redmi officially announced the Redmi K60 Supreme Edition model, which will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor and an independent display chip X7. It is expected to bring a nearly “perfect” gaming experience. On August 7th, a blogger released the gaming test results of the Redmi K60 Supreme Edition.
The blogger stated that the Dimensity 9200+ had been tested before, and the previous test data showed that its low-frequency power consumption was stronger than the second generation Snapdragon 8, but its high-frequency power consumption was not as good as the second generation Snapdragon 8. The Redmi K60 Supreme Edition chose this chip, and the test results showed that its power consumption in games like “King of Glory” and “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” was better than the second generation Snapdragon 8, and the low-frequency performance met expectations. In the test of the game “Genshin Impact”, at the highest graphics quality settings, the frame rate was 59.02fps with a power consumption of 6.2W±, and the power consumption under heavy load was relatively normal, resulting in a smooth gaming experience. In addition, with the X7 discrete graphics chip’s triple interpolation algorithm, the power consumption in games like “King of Glory” and “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” was reduced to some extent, but the smoothness did not match the native high-frame-rate mode.

The blogger stated that the new device performs best in the game “Genshin Impact”. The super-resolution image quality does improve compared to ordinary smartphones. With the triple interpolation, the average frame rate can reach 142.8fps, and there is only a slight frame drop when frequently switching perspectives. Overall, the gaming experience is incredibly smooth. The blogger also mentioned that based on the test results, Redmi has surprisingly optimized the performance of the Dimensity chip this time. Now we just need to wait for the price!
According to previous official announcements, the Redmi K60 Supreme Edition will be equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ processor, supplemented by the independent display chip X7, with a luxurious performance configuration. With the new Furious Engine 2.0, the furious performance is deeply unleashed. The official statement mentioned that the Redmi K60 Supreme Edition will create a “full-blooded” gaming ecosystem, supporting over 100 games with a 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate. Previously, people have criticized the tuning of Redmi’s MediaTek chips, and whether there will be fundamental changes this time remains to be seen.
