CCTV reports on upgraded interactive experience at Meizu Group's MWC exhibition stand
【PhoneAuto News】Recently, the 2023 MWC Shanghai World Mobile Congress is in full swing. In the exhibition, car-human interaction in vehicles has become a highlight. Flyme Auto, a subsidiary of Xingji Meizu, has achieved the interconnection between cars and smartphones, which has also received coverage from CCTV.
In the CCTV report, the reporter first introduced how smartphones provide computational power, data, hardware, and ecosystem capabilities for smart cars, upgrading the interconnection between the two from software to hardware. Finally, the interconnection mapping between Meizu smartphones and Meizu car systems-Flyme Auto was demonstrated in practice.

According to PhoneAuto’s understanding, the Lynk & Co 08 car equipped with Flyme Auto completes the computation of many applications on the phone and interacts with and displays them on the car system by sharing computational power with Meizu 20 series smartphones. The interconnection between the phone and the car system is no longer a troublesome issue. Moreover, Flyme Auto not only integrates the software ecosystem of the phone and the car but also shares hardware. Through the Flyme Link interconnection framework, Meizu enables the phone to call the in-car camera and microphone to conduct video conferences.
In addition, at this MWC, Shen Zi Yu, Chairman & CEO of Xingji Meizu Group, was also invited to participate in the conference’s “Technology Driving Change” thematic forum and give a speech. He stated that in the era of the Internet of Everything, the deep integration and super collaboration between the consumer electronics and automotive industries have become an important direction for development. Xingji Meizu Group has proposed the concept of the “mobile domain” for multi-terminal integration scenarios, enabling smartphones to empower the intelligent construction of cars and ultimately provide users with a multi-terminal, full-scenario, immersive integrated experience.
