Chery Fengyun T9 to Cease Production on December 28, Boasts 165km Range for Plug-In Hybrid SUV and Electric Options

【PhoneAuto News】On December 15th, PhoneAuto learned that the Chery Fengyun T9 will officially go offline on December 28th. The new car is positioned as a mid-size SUV and will adopt a plug-in hybrid system, with a pure electric range of up to 165km.

In terms of appearance, the Chery Fengyun T9 adopts a closed front grille design, paired with a silver semi-circular chrome decoration. The front bumper is equipped with vertically arranged ventilation openings, making the front of the car more dynamic. In terms of the side view of the car, the new car adopts a two-tone design with a roof that is a different color from the body and retractable hidden door handles. Coupled with the louvered wheels, it gives the whole car a futuristic feel.

In terms of interior, the Chery Fengyun T9 adopts a dual-screen design that connects the full LCD instrument panel with the central multimedia display screen. The steering wheel adopts a blue and white dual-color scheme and a three-spoke style. The rounded square air vents in the center of the center console also have unique features. With the electronic shift mechanism, the car is full of technology. In terms of configuration, the new car will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and 5G Gigabit Ethernet, and will also be equipped with a SONY audio system, including a surround sound system with 14 speakers and a 256-color ambient light.

In terms of power, the Chery Fengyun T9 will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system, composed of a code-named H4J15 hybrid special engine and an electric motor. The battery capacity is 34.4 kilowatt-hours. The pure electric range of the two-wheel drive version is 160 kilometers, and the pure electric range of the four-wheel drive version is 150 kilometers (the range test conditions for both models are unknown). The fuel tank capacity is 70 liters, and other detailed information has not yet been disclosed.
