Think carefully before buying iPhone 15, as it has been reported that there are changes in the design of the basic version of iPhone 16

Consider carefully before purchasing iPhone 15 due to reported design changes in the basic version of iPhone 16

【PhoneAuto News】As a giant in the technology industry, Apple’s release of each new generation of iPhone attracts a lot of attention. Although the iPhone 15 series has not been unveiled yet, there are already leaks about the iPhone 16 series online. On May 23, PhoneAuto learned that many new leaks show that the iPhone 16 will use a vertical camera arrangement instead of the diagonal camera arrangement currently used in the iPhone 14. This will make the iPhone 16 look similar to the iPhone 12, but it will also be easily recognizable as a new model.

Apple has always liked to make bigger changes in the Pro models first, and then slowly permeate them into the standard models. For example, the iPhone 14 Pro uses the “floating island” design, and it is expected that the standard version of the iPhone 15 in 2023 will adopt this design.

According to the latest leaks from Twitter user @URedditor (also known as Unknownz21), the iPhone 16 will undergo significant design changes different from the iPhone 15. The basic iPhone 16 model and iPhone 16 Plus will use a vertical camera arrangement instead of a diagonal arrangement, making the new machine look similar to the iPhone 12.

The camera of the iPhone 16 may use a vertically aligned layout

Apple switched to a diagonal layout to make room for improved sensors and stabilizing motors, but additional space may no longer be necessary in the future. It is not yet clear why Apple is making this change, but Unknownz21 said it will make the iPhone 16 easily recognizable as a new model.

This is interesting because Apple’s recent strategy has been to no longer prioritize external design changes for the standard iPhone. Although the standard iPhone has undergone significant changes and added new features year after year, they are often inherited from the Pro models.

iPhone 12 Series

It is precisely because there will be significant changes in the appearance of the iPhone 16, that this blogger is not very optimistic about the iPhone 15 standard version. Because the vertical camera arrangement of the iPhone 16 at least provides some differences with the iPhone 15, while the iPhone 15 has no significant difference in appearance from the iPhone 14.

Unknownz21 often reveals credible information about the iPhone.
