On May 19th, according to reports, Gree Electric has disbanded its core mobile phone team, and the Gree mobile phone official website (phone.gree.com) is currently unavailable. Gree has not responded to the news yet.

A knowledgeable employee who has already left the company stated that the Gree mobile phone business was initially established in Zhuhai, and the core team was moved to Shenzhen around 2019. The Shenzhen team includes development, testing, and administrative personnel departments, with nearly 100 people at its peak. However, since last year, the Shenzhen team has gradually disbanded, and there were still more than 40 people left by mid-2022. Afterward, “the Shenzhen team disbanded completely, and there should be no more mobile phones.”
