2023 Detroit Auto Show to open on September 13th, with potential for double the number of car company participants

【PhoneAuto News】According to foreign media reports, the organizers of the Detroit Auto Show announced that this year’s show will open on September 13th. The organizers promise to hold a better show than last year, with multiple brands making their debut and more car companies participating in the exhibition.

There is currently no news about how many car companies will participate in the exhibition, but the organizers estimate that the number of participating brands will double compared to last year. This will make this year’s show even more attractive and influential. Due to the impact of the epidemic last year, although the Detroit Auto Show opened normally, many car manufacturers ultimately decided not to participate. Including Honda, Hyundai-Kia, Nissan, as well as Audi, Porsche, and Jaguar Land Rover were all absent from last year’s show.

However, this year will be very different. Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis will shine at this year’s show, bringing all their brands to participate. Ford, Jeep, and RAM will also bring new test tracks and “new experience activities.” The show will set up experience tracks that allow participating consumers to experience various types of electric vehicles. In addition, the exhibition will also set up a special preaching booth to inform people how to better charge electric vehicles.

The exhibition will also hold a technology demonstration conference again. The organizers’ goal is to invite 150 start-up companies, 50 technology demonstration companies, and more than 10 universities to participate to showcase the latest technology in the current automotive industry. According to the information provided by the organizers, the public opening day of this year’s show will be on September 16th and will continue until September 24th. Tickets for the auto show will go on sale in July, but the specific price is currently unclear.
