BMW recalls certain models due to potential power loss while driving
【PhoneAuto News】Recently, BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. and BMW (China) Automotive Trading Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls and the Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls. The following vehicles will be recalled from June 2, 2023:
BMW i4
1. BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd.
- Some imported Jeep Wranglers have announced a recall of 852 vehicles! There is a risk of fuel leakage

A total of 42 domestically produced i3 electric vehicles produced from May 3, 2022 to April 12, 2023 will be recalled; a total of 47 domestically produced iX3 electric vehicles produced from September 22, 2021 to March 2, 2023 will be recalled.
2. BMW (China) Automotive Trading Ltd.
A total of 5 imported i4 electric vehicles produced from December 15, 2021 to October 6, 2022 will be recalled; a total of 1 imported i7 electric vehicle produced on September 20, 2022 will be recalled; and a total of 4 imported iX electric vehicles produced from February 4, 2022 to September 27, 2022 will be recalled.
The vehicles within the scope of this recall may experience power interruption during driving due to the cable connector of the high-voltage battery monitoring electronic device (CSC) not being correctly locked in place, resulting in the CSC being unable to effectively monitor the high-voltage battery and execute the failure protection measures to stop the power output of the high-voltage battery, posing a safety hazard.
BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. and BMW (China) Automotive Trading Ltd. will replace the high-voltage battery monitoring electronic devices free of charge for the vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
