【Phoneauto News】On the evening of August 3rd, Great Wall Motors announced on its official Weibo account that it has donated 20 million yuan to the Red Cross Society for disaster relief and reconstruction work in the affected areas. Immediately after the disaster, Great Wall Motors launched six caring initiatives, with several car clubs under its umbrella participating in the rescue efforts. They are willing to stand together with the people in the disaster-stricken areas, overcoming the difficulties together.

Recently, the typhoon “Du Sui Rui” has caused extreme heavy rain in many parts of the country, leading to floods and geological disasters in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, resulting in serious casualties and property losses. In response to the disaster, after launching the “Six Caring Services” initiative, Great Wall Motors has upgraded its assistance by donating 20 million yuan to the Red Cross Society for disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction work. For car owners in areas affected by heavy rain, such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, Great Wall Motors’ brands, Haval, Wey, Ora, Tank, and Great Wall Cannon, have jointly launched the “Six Caring Services” initiative, which includes 24-hour rescue, free inspections, maintenance discounts, extended maintenance periods, efficient claims processing, and full vehicle disinfection, sparing no effort to provide caring services and relieve worries for users.

Great Wall Motors’ Six Caring Services
Great Wall Motors also stated that, for the purpose of emergency rescue and disaster relief, multiple car clubs such as the “Cannon Alliance” and “Tank Alliance” have fearlessly organized Tank and Great Wall Cannon vehicles to participate in the rescue efforts. Among them, the Cannon Alliance’s provincial teams in Fujian, Beijing, Hebei, Henan, and other provinces, as well as the supporting teams in Baoding, Tangshan, Langfang, and other cities, have actively deployed over 60 rescue teams and multiple rescue boats to participate in the rescue work.
The Great Wall Cannon is used for rescue.
Among them, Beijing Tank Official Club, Tianjin Tank Official Club, Henan Tank Official Club, Baoding Tank Official Club, Xiamen Tank Official Club and others have successively organized more than 160 tank vehicles and more than 300 owners to participate in the rescue, transferring trapped people more than 3500 times, and donated more than 250,000 yuan worth of supplies, including mineral water, instant noodles, bread, life jackets, quilts, milk powder, alcohol lamps, etc.
