Huawei’s imaging color research team brought together 7 expert teams from Huawei research institutes located in China, Finland, Japan, and other parts of the world. These teams cover 8 research fields including art, psychology, optics, and color science. They used nearly 4 million submissions from Huawei’s New Imaging Contest users as samples and collaborated with professional institutions such as the Color Research Institute at Tsinghua University’s Art and Science Research Center to continuously accumulate and refine, establishing Huawei’s exclusive imaging style.

The new texture engine can extract global and local feature information of the subject in real environments based on AI deep neural network learning, achieving millisecond-level precise reproduction of the authentic texture as seen by the human eye.
