【Phoneauto News】Recently, there have been reports that Samsung will launch the S24 series flagship smartphones in early 2024. This series includes the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra models. On August 1st, according to foreign media sources, the Samsung S24+ appeared on the Geekbench benchmark website with the model number SM-S926U.

The list shows that the Samsung S24+ scored 2223 in single-core and 6661 in multi-core on the Geekbench benchmark test. It will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile platform codenamed “Pineapple,” most likely the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen3. It is understood that this mobile platform’s CPU consists of one large core, five big cores, and two small cores. The large core is Arm’s latest Cortex X4, which has a 15% performance improvement compared to X3 and a 40% lower power consumption under the same performance conditions as X3. The list also shows that the Samsung S24+ will run on the latest Android 14 operating system and will have at least 8GB of RAM.

Regarding the configuration information of the Samsung S24+, the Geekbench website only shows the above information. However, there are leaks suggesting that the device may have a 6.65-inch screen, a slight improvement from the 6.6-inch screen of its predecessor, the S23+, and may use a titanium metal frame in all models. The rear camera may have a 200-megapixel main sensor, and it may be equipped with a 4900mAh/5000mAh battery.
