As a replacement model, the new Inspire has undergone a redesign of its exterior and interior. It is available with a 1.5T gasoline engine and a 2.0L plug-in hybrid power system, and is also equipped with the latest Honda SENSING 360 and intelligent navigation system Honda Connect 4.0. It is expected to be launched in June this year.

Previously reported data showed that the length, width and height of the new car are 4979/1862/1449mm, and the wheelbase is 2830mm. Compared with the current Inspire, the length of the new Honda Inspire has increased by 55mm, while the other dimensions remain unchanged.

Entering the car, the overall design of the new Inspire’s interior is basically consistent with the all-new Accord. It is equipped with a suspended central control screen and a new-style multifunctional steering wheel. There is a control knob in the middle of the central console, and ambient lights are added in many places inside the car, further enhancing the quality of the interior. In addition, the new Inspire e:PHEV adopts a button-type gear shift mechanism, and it is expected that the gasoline version will use a traditional gear shift lever.

Regarding the powertrain, according to the previous declaration information, the new car offers a 1.5T gasoline version and a 2.0-liter plug-in hybrid powertrain, of which the maximum power of the 1.5T engine is 141 kW; the 2.0-liter plug-in hybrid powertrain is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor, the maximum power of the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine is 109 kW, and the peak power of the electric motor is 135 kW.
