【PhoneAuto News】On June 27th, BMW launched the most powerful performance version of its entry-level SUV, the 2024 BMW X1 M35i xDrive. The vehicle is equipped with a powerful 2.0-liter engine and has been upgraded in terms of appearance, looking more cool. The car will be available in the US in October this year, with a starting price of $50,895 (approximately 367,500 yuan). It will also be the first BMW model to be equipped with the latest iDrive 9 infotainment system.

From the appearance, the new BMW X1 M35i xDrive retains most of the design of the regular X1, but there are also some differences. The front of the vehicle has a larger air intake grille, which is said to provide better cooling for the engine, transmission, and brake pads. The vehicle also incorporates some iconic features and kits from the M family, and the rear is also equipped with a dual-outlet four-pipe design, giving it a sporty look.

The interior of the new car is also filled with a sporty atmosphere. The new BMW X1 M35i xDrive offers optional M Sport seats, Alcantara-trimmed dashboard, and other configurations. However, its biggest upgrade is the latest iDrive 9 infotainment system from BMW, making it the first BMW model to be equipped with the new system. The new system features a redesigned main screen and improved menu structure inspired by consumer electronics devices, making it more user-friendly in daily use.

In terms of power, the new BMW X1 M35i xDrive is the most powerful entry-level SUV in BMW’s lineup. It is equipped with a 2.0T engine, but due to upgrades such as a stronger crankshaft and optimized fuel supply system from the V6 engine, it can provide a maximum power output of 312 horsepower, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The car is also equipped with xDrive all-wheel drive system and LSD, which enhances the handling feel during intense driving. The car has a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 155 miles per hour (250 kilometers per hour).
