Honor 90 with 200 million pixel camera is coming soon to the Indian market!
【PhoneAuto News】It is reported that Honor is planning to re-enter the Indian market with the Honor 90 smartphone. Currently, the device has been launched globally.
Although the exact release date has not been disclosed, Gaurav Chaudhary stated that Honor will launch the Honor 90 for Indian consumers in September. However, there is currently no information about the pricing of the upcoming smartphone in India.
The Honor 90 has been previously released globally, and the leaker shared some key specifications of the Indian version, which seems to be similar to the global version. The leaked information shows that the Honor 90 is equipped with a 6.7-inch quad-curved display, a rear camera setup of 200 million pixels + 12 million pixels + 12 million pixels, and a front-facing 50 million pixel selfie camera. Recently, there have been reports that Honor may re-enter the Indian smartphone market under the leadership of former realme India CEO Madhav Sheth. Although Sheth has not officially announced his joining Honor, a trademark named “Knight Honor” mentioning Sheth’s name was recently discovered. The product description of this trademark includes smartphones and accessories, which has sparked speculation about Honor’s comeback in India.
Previously, there were reports that Honor would exit the Indian smartphone market, but the company has denied this claim. Until 2021, Honor continued to launch new products in India, but they were mainly smartwatches and tablets, such as Honor Watch ES and Honor Pad 5. The last smartphone launched by Honor in India was the Honor 9A, priced below 10,000 rupees (approximately 873 yuan).
