Vivo launches X90 smartphone in India, Samsung S24 series exposed
【Phoneauto News】vivo is preparing to launch a new X90 series smartphone in India; recently, foreign media have exposed its next-generation flagship model S24, and stated that Samsung’s own Exynos processor will return on the S24; this year marks the 75th anniversary of Honda’s establishment, and to celebrate this important milestone, Honda has prepared a surprise: a brand new S2000 EV electric sports car; Adrian Mardell, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), gave an honest communication about the current situation of the Jaguar brand at an investor conference.
Although Vivo has not disclosed the specific model of the new phone, according to recent reports from foreign media, this new device is likely to be the X90s. This machine was released domestically last month and is a mid-to-high-end 5G phone. The biggest difference between the vivo X90s and X90 is that it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chip. It is manufactured based on TSMC’s 4nm process. The CPU adopts a 1+3+4 tri-cluster architecture, consisting of one Cortex-X3 core, three Cortex-A715 cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores. The clock speed can reach 3.35GHz, and the AnTuTu score can reach 1.36 million.
vivo X90s offers four colors in terms of color matching: pitch black, Chinese red, cyan, and confession white. The rear camera module also continues the combination of the X90 Yunjie+ circular camera module, giving it a certain degree of recognition. The vivo X90s also features a Zeiss triple-camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel VCS biomimetic spectral main camera + a 12-megapixel ultra-low distortion ultra-wide-angle camera + a 12-megapixel fixed-focus portrait camera. However, compared with the X90, it brings a newly upgraded vivo Memory Color System in terms of software, providing rich, delicate, and personalized vivo texture colors.

Recently, foreign media have exposed the next generation flagship model S24 of Samsung, and it is reported that Samsung’s own Exynos processor will return on S24.
It is reported that all current Samsung S23 series phones (excluding the upcoming S23 FE) are only equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. However, reports suggest that Samsung may plan to bring two different processors to its S24 series devices. Similar to the previous Samsung S series, the new S24 will offer both Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. Similarly, different chips may be launched in different regions. In the European market, Samsung will still provide models with Exynos processors, while in the United States and other markets, the S24 series is expected to use Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. The two different chipset models will be Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
According to Car Magazine, Honda will launch a new S2000 EV electric sports car later this year. This car will be based on Honda’s new e:N platform, which is a modular platform designed for electric vehicles that can be adjusted according to different models and performance requirements. The S2000 EV will adopt a rear-mounted electric motor, which ensures the advantages of rear-wheel drive and weight distribution. It may also have a Type R version, which is a symbol of Honda’s highest performance level. The Type R version may have more powerful power output and more aggressive exterior design.
The S2000 EV will be Honda’s first electric sports car in the US market. Currently, Honda does not have any electric vehicles for sale in the United States. Last year, Honda announced plans to launch 30 electric vehicles globally by 2030. Two of them are electric sports cars: one is a “special” model, which is likely to be the S2000 EV, and the other is a “flagship” model, which is likely to be the next generation Acura/Honda NSX.
According to foreign media reports, Adrian Mardell, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), had a candid discussion about the current situation of the Jaguar brand at an investor conference. He admitted that past decisions had led to the decline of the Jaguar brand. The original plan was to make Jaguar an English version of BMW to attract more luxury car buyers, but it was not successful. This approach has resulted in the Jaguar brand being perceived as “mediocre” and “without any brand value”.
In order to revitalize the Jaguar brand, Jaguar Land Rover has a grand plan. Jaguar will elevate its market positioning and compete with brands such as Porsche, Bentley, and Maybach. In addition, Jaguar will transition into a pure electric brand and launch high-profit, low-volume products. The future models will have extremely distinctive designs. Mardell said, “We won’t worry about whether everyone will like us.” He also said that trying to please everyone is a “kiss of death” and the reason for the brand’s predicament.
