【Phoneauto News】CEO of Nothing, Carl Pei, announced some significant news in a “Community Update” video. The company is launching a new sub-brand called CMF by Nothing.

Pei stated that this will be a more affordable brand than Nothing, focusing on providing “timeless design” at discounted prices, as well as “quality that is hard to find” in the same price range.

The first two products to be released later this year will be a smartwatch and earphones. Both will embody the design-driven slogan shared by Nothing and CMF by Nothing. Due to the same emphasis on user experience as Nothing, the CMF products are expected to perform “very well.”

Meanwhile, Nothing will continue to focus on “design innovation” and pushing boundaries, according to Pei. Nothing products will remain high-end, with top performance and “cutting-edge technology.”

CMF by Nothing will be operated by an independent team within the company to ensure it does not interfere with its main products. More details about the smartwatch and earphones are expected to be released in the “coming months,” and we should soon see a lot of teasers.

In July, Nothing held a launch event overseas, officially introducing its new device, Nothing Phone (2). The phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, a 6.7-inch flexible OLED display (LTPO), a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel main camera + 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle dual camera. In terms of appearance, the Glyph interface of the device features more LED lights, making it not only more personalized but also more practical. For example, users can know the volume, countdown, food delivery status, and taxi time without looking at the screen through the Glyph interface.
