Rowan stated that in the future, Volvo will deepen its comprehensive communication and cooperation with government departments, continue to expand investment in China, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win development. In addition, Volvo’s new design center was officially unveiled in Shanghai on May 10. Like the design center in Gothenburg headquarters, the Shanghai design center has the full-process automotive design capabilities from concept to production, providing interior, exterior, color and material design as well as user experience design for full-size production models.

Previously, Volvo had announced that its pure electric new car, the Volvo EX30, will be officially unveiled on June 7. Rowan described this small SUV as a “city car for young users.” In Rowan’s view, due to its lower price and better driving experience, this new car will become the first Volvo for young people.
