【PhoneAuto News】On May 17th, PhoneAuto learned from the official Beijing Mercedes-Benz that the EQE SUV will be officially launched on May 27th. The new car is the twelfth Mercedes-Benz model produced locally and the first luxury pure electric SUV developed based on the EVA pure electric platform of Mercedes-Benz EQ.

In terms of appearance, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV adopts a similar design style to the EQ series of cars, with a new enclosed front face and a family design language outlined by the through-type headlight group. The front bumper highlights the sporty setting, presenting the design effect of a sports car through black decorative lines. In terms of body size, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is 4880mm long, 2032mm wide, 1679mm high, and has a wheelbase of 3030mm.

In terms of interior, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV adopts the MBUX Hyperscreen ultra-connected screen layout. The air conditioning vents on both sides adopt a turbine-style design, and have a surround multi-color atmosphere light. The new car uses brown seats with mainly cold-toned door panels, presenting a certain sense of luxury.

In terms of power, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is equipped with dual motors and four-wheel drive system as standard, with a maximum power of 300 kW, a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.1 seconds, a CLTC working condition maximum cruising range of 613 kilometers, supporting 4-speed dynamic energy recovery intensity adjustment, and equipped with a heat pump system. At the same time, the car is also equipped with L2 level driving assistance components and supports off-road mode. In addition, Mercedes-Benz’s self-developed battery management system can be upgraded OTA, the maximum charging power of the vehicle is 128 kW, and the charging time from 10% to 80% is 48 minutes.
It is worth mentioning that, for the Chinese market, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV has added 10 exclusive configurations, such as a “boss button” and comfortable rear headrests. Corresponding optimizations have also been made in terms of NVH, such as equipping double-layer soundproof glass for the front row and a full vehicle acoustic package.
