Specifically, in terms of satisfaction with in-car information and entertainment systems, Tesla ranks first with a satisfaction rate of 86%, while BMW’s iDrive ranks second with a satisfaction rate of 80%. Overall, the US automobile information and entertainment system market is expected to grow at a rate of 6.26% due to the increasing demand for seamless integration with connected and advanced vehicle technologies. In addition, the report pointed out that the global automobile information and entertainment system market was worth $29 billion (approximately RMB 204.74 billion) in 2021, and the compound annual growth rate during the forecast period (2022-2030) is estimated to be 8.8%, with the market expected to reach $56 billion (approximately RMB 395.36 billion) in 2030.
It is worth mentioning that the report also clearly states that the introduction of information and entertainment systems has led to an increase in distracted driving deaths. According to statistics, in 2022, 3,142 people died in the US due to distracted driving, an increase of 22% compared to the previous year.
