【Phoneauto News】According to the information released by the China Passenger Car Association, the MPV sales in the Chinese automobile market in June this year reached 89,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 13.5% and a month-on-month decrease of 6.3%. The cumulative MPV sales in the first half of the year reached 524,000 units, an increase of 21.6% compared to the same period last year. On July 12th, Phoneauto learned from the official website of Tengshi Motors that the Tengshi D9 ranked first in MPV sales from January to June, topping the MPV rankings on various major media platforms, with orders exceeding 100,000 units. It is reported that among the Tengshi D9’s new and replacement buyers, 50% of them come from traditional luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi.

According to the official image released by Tengshi Motors, the Tengshi D9 ranked first on the MPV sales chart with a total of 10,630 units, making it the only MPV model with sales exceeding 10,000 units in June, and its performance is very eye-catching. In terms of specific monthly sales, the Tengshi D9 sold 6,439 units in January, 7,325 units in February, 10,398 units in March, 10,526 units in April, and 11,005 units in May. In total, the Tengshi D9 sold a total of 56,323 units in the first half of 2023.

As a high-end and luxury MPV under BYD, the Tengshi D9’s DM-i model is equipped with a powerful 1.5T turbocharged engine, while the EV pure electric version’s power system is built on the BYD e-platform 3.0, with a CLTC working condition range of over 600km. In addition, the Tengshi D9 EV version is equipped with the world’s first dual-gun and charging system. According to official data, using dual charging can achieve a maximum charging power of 166kW, and can replenish energy of 230km in 15 minutes.
