On August 1st, phoneauto learned from foreign media that the vivo V29 5G will adopt a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels, supporting a 120Hz high refresh rate and displaying up to 1 billion colors.

Foreign media also released a render of the vivo V29 5G, which has a rectangular camera module design on the back and a centered hole-punch screen design on the front. The overall screen-to-body ratio looks good. There is also a volume button and a power button on the right side, and the back is equipped with a triple camera setup. According to the leak, the vivo V29 5G is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera (supporting OIS optical image stabilization), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens on the back, and a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
